So warm here last 2 days i'm feeling it, lots of cute girls to look at from my balcony :P

Yeah i did have some hoy counselor just not lately (with this one exception) guess i've been lucky with that

Ahh moving season, last summer a girl moved into the apartment below me, she's so quiet though never hear her do anything, it's nice when people are quiet.

Would be saving more money if we were moving. Since that would have meant the wife had a job... Soon I hope. Soon.

Today is the last day with children and tomorrow is the last day for teachers. So close! SOOOOOO CLOSE!!

The people below us who just moved out were loud and assholes to my wife. So glad they are gone.

ah the adventures of apartment house living...dont ya' just love it (NOT!)

wow ending already? I seem to remember school going until at least the first week of June (back when dinosaurs walked the earth)....and my hs graduation wasnt until like the 16th...when is it you started (I know in grade school we started in mid august, hs right around labor day)?

nothing 'cute' to look at here...mostly old folks or those with whiney grade school kids --not quite sure why you'd want to live here, most of the 'village' is an old folks home (got a bunch around here...one is behind us, one is on the other side of the street, etc), I think of the 20k people who live here half are old people in old folks homes.

got a new lake here too, they cut down a bunch of trees and bushes in the 'park' down the street, well, hubby says it was swampy before they did that, now its a new lake! and with all the rain we have been having (and the snow from the winter) dont think its going to be leaving any time soon either--hope they didnt have any plans for making it something other than a swamp. Hope we dont have a bumper crop of bugs because of it

IN Denmark living in an apartment isn't too bad really

Hmm why cut down trees that's such a weird thing to do, literally when look out the window i see atleast 100+ trees, which is awesome, then again most of the places in Denmark are really green with trees, bushes, fruits, berries all scattered around the towns, so much nature!

Cosy it's because the teachers and students have become lazier! nothing else

lol

actually from what we heard they are bascially planning to put back trees--not nice ones like the cut...they plan to make it a wetland (geez whiz olley--it already WAS a wetland..so they are going to redo what was already there /facepalm~~~~~)

some apartments are nice here, most are not. Would rather have a house.

We started around Mid-August as well, but we also didn't get a spring break this semester. We built in 5 Friday's off that we only got if we didn't use any snow days. We used all of them so we didn't get those days. But we do get off earlier than almost any other school.

Hey now, don't lump me in with my students. I work my azz off there. My students have gotten lazier, which actually means I have to work harder as I have to push them harder. Best watch it azzer, don't make me come find you.

Our apartment isn't too bad. Wish it were a 2 bedroom apartment though.

thought you would take care of that part pwnd!

I am still amazed that kids have cell phones, I think they should have to leave them at the door when they come in and get them back when they go home for the day, really they should be WORKING not goofing off the whole school day. (and I see no reason for jr hs or grade school to even HAVE a cellphone).

You are just getting started there pwnd, you will get a bigger place soon enough (we didnt get a 2 bedroom until our 3rd place, though our first place was a studio, 2nd had the 'open concept' that everyone loves these days--personally I like to have my kitchen in its own room, that way when someone burns the popcorn the whole house doesnt smell like burnt popcorn, open you smell it everywhere 3rd was a nice townhouse, 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, 3 bathrooms--never did get that one, so if hubby was watching tv late I could go upstairs to bed and never hear it)

I wish we had a stricter cell phone policy. But nope, our administration doesn't want to back up our stance on no cell phones. Some teachers don't care if the students have them, so you can walk past a room and see over half the class playing on their phones instead of paying attention. Then when they come into my room and find out I don't allow cell phones then I'm the bad guy. Oh well. Rules are rules.

I just want more space. So cramped in here...

Pretty nice here too. 79 degrees. Just got back from a nice walk with the wife. Very nice day out.

Watched the Champions League final as well. Great game. Glad to see Real win.

The place we have has the same things azzer, but it is a bit small for 2 people.

Yeah i'm an Atletico Madrid supporter since 1999 ;(

For 2 people yes that does sound too small then, for 1 person perfect, 2 people is stretching that a bit.

That is how we are feeling, cramped. We have too much stuff to fit into our small apartment.

we had that amount in our first studio---then we got a slightly larger place (all we could afford at the time), but it was small too--3rd place was nice. Currently we have 2 bedrooms and an office (or as the rental agreement says 'den'), we even have our own laundry, but still there is no place for anything ---we have the same square footage we had 3 places ago (and we grew out of those)...so yeah, we need some elbow room too, and I would love to have a 2nd floor!

was a gorgeous day today! supposed to be pretty dang nice tomorrow too

We would love to move up to a 2 bedroom apartment but we just can't do it. Especially with no raise this year, all I do is move up on the year scale so I get an extra like $200 this next year. So we just don't have the money to move to a larger place until she gets a job. Which will hopefully be soon...

Very nice today atm. Supposed to stay nice though tomorrow they are calling for PM storms... Not good since I'm supposed to go help my dad fix their pool cover.

raise? what is this thing you speak of? (hubby hasnt had one in 4 years--last thing he got was the social security equality bonus--since they raised how much they take out the company matched it, his company doesnt believe in giving raises when they arent making money hand over foot), and the last one was only 2% anyways.

but yeah can understand the 'cant afford' thing really well, and you live out in the cornfields!

another beautiful day, too bad the dang allergy is active (all the counts have been high for the last few days).

I guess we don't get a direct raise, they just raise our base pay and thus it gives us a bit of a raise each year. It never comes out to be much, maybe an extra $600 a year, but still enough. Oh well.

We actually live in the city, away from the cornfield. It would be much cheaper to live out in the cornfield but the wife wants to stay here...

Supposed to maybe rain and storm today. Which isn't so good since my dad and I need to fix the pool cover and change the oil in my wife's car.
